Practical info

On Saturday, June 21, the Op de Ring festival will take place on a 15-kilometer car-free stretch of the A10. The inner ring will be transformed into a festival site, while the outer ring will remain open for emergency services and public transport.

Program & Zones
There are around 25 program elements spread across 3 zones. To access Zone A10 West and A10 South, you’ll need a ticket. Your ticket will show your time slot and designated entrance. Once inside, you’ll have access to both Zone A10 West and Zone A10 South.

In Zone A10 East, the Run Op de Ring takes place from 9:00 AM to 2:45 PM, with 20,000 participants. Unfortunately, registration is no longer possible. You can watch the runners finish via the S109 (RAI) entrance — no ticket required. After 4:00 PM, Zone A10 East opens up for cycling (entry via S113 Watergraafsmeer) or walking (entry via S109 RAI).
Please note: there is no access from Zone A10 East to Zones A10 South or A10 West.

Entrances
You can access the site via on- and off-ramps (the S-routes). There are 11 entrances in total. Entrances S110, S111, and S112 will be closed. All entrances and walking routes will be clearly marked on-site with signs and with the help of hosts. The entrances and exits are also be visible on the digital map on this website.

Transport access
Whenever possible, come on foot or by bicycle. Additional bike parking will be available. Expect crowds on public transport. Trains will not stop at Lelylaan and RAI stations. Metro stations De Vlugtlaan, RAI, and Amstelveenseweg will be closed. Leave your car at home—there is no parking available. Extra travel time may exceed one hour.

Food & Drinks
Food and drinks will be available for purchase on-site. Payment with PIN only. The following rules apply:

  • Each person may bring a maximum of 1 liter water + 1 liter of beverages (total volume, including both non-alcoholic and low-alcohol drinks). So 2 liters in total. No alcohol for those under 18.

  • Selling your own brought-in food or drinks is not allowed.

  • Plastic and cans are permitted.

  • Glass, glass bottles, and spirits are not allowed. Homemade mixed drinks with strong alcohol are also prohibited. Only original, sealed/closed low-alcohol drink containers may be brought in.

Be prepared!
The A10 is a unique location, and distances are long — come prepared! Leave your heels at home: the motorway surface is made for cars, not for walking. If the sun is shining, make sure to wear sunscreen and protective clothing. The asphalt can get very hot. Looking for a toilet or first aid? Check the digital map. Leave bags larger than A4 size at home — bag checks may occur.
