For over 30 years, de Oosterburen has been a joyful gateway to music from around the world. Under the relaxed guidance of Michel Fabre, we explore the rhythms and melodies of West Africa, Ethiopia, Greece, Finland, Japan, the Balkans, and more — from soulful tunes to swingin’ grooves.

Clarinets, trumpets, saxophones, harp, accordion, keyboard, guitar, and of course, drums — Bigband Timboektoe has it all.
Their music takes you on a global journey, from Mali to Latin America, the Balkans, and beyond. From cumbia to ska, it’s music that moves you.

Take a quiet moment on the Ring A10. Step into a parked car and feel lighter after a heartfelt conversation with Dick or Ester from De Regenboog.

The Dwaalgast – A Mobile Shelter
Amsterdam has 11 walk-in shelters for people without a home. De Dwaalgast is a mobile shelter you can step inside today — a glimpse into warmth and support on wheels.

A wooden party hut that brings the programming to life – from live accordion performances to up-and-coming DJ talent from Amsterdam!

A joyful collaboration between a group of young Amsterdammers and artists, coming together to contribute to the city’s festivals in their own way — with energy, creativity, and community. Together, we’re making Amsterdam even more inclusive!

A comedy club and concert hall on wheels! CamperConcerts is a touring show filled with music, humor, and unexpected twists. In his mobile studio, Guido takes you on a personal journey packed with sharp insights, hilarious stories, and moving music.

Since 2016, this collective of passionate DJs has been spinning records to celebrate the beauty of vinyl and Black music. Catch them at Mysteryland, Zwarte Cross — and now Op de Ring — for a soulful, 100% analog experience.

Amsterdam UMC is working towards a healthy future for everyone: what does a healthy future look like to you? What do you need for good health? What are your hopes? What do you want to leave behind? Share your thoughts on the future cards and plant a seed for tomorrow.

Make your teddy bear better at the Teddy Bear Hospital at Amsterdam UMC. Come with your stuffed animal or borrow one from the UMC, and together we’ll make your bear feel better. Plus, you’ll learn more about the human body at the Teddy Bear Hospital at Amsterdam UMC.

50s Rock ‘n’ Roll dancing with Gel!
For over 40 years, Rock ‘n’ Roll Dance Club Gel has been teaching authentic 1950s rock ‘n’ roll dance in Amsterdam.
Join us for lessons and social dancing every Tuesday night at De Kompaszaal (KNSM Island).
